Venice Jie Jie @ our house

Happy Birthday to Venice Jie Jie @ March 20th

Today Aunty Wan Lan and Uncle Chong brought Venice Jie Jie to our house. That's a shot of Jie Jie at our living hall.

Mom said today is her birthday. Supposingly Mom and Dad would like to celebrate birthday with her, however due to tight schedule+ Aunty Wan Lan wishes to cook at home.. so my folks postponed to next gathering.

Anyway; HAPPY ONE YEAR OLD to you , Jie Jie.

Children learn what they live

I want very much to share this with all of you. I remember I have a copy of it nicely done in artistic manuscript when I was still in secondary school. Even then, I found it meaningful. Over the years, moving here and there, I have forgotten about it until recently. I searched everywhere for the manuscript but cannot be found. Frustrated, I google searched, hoping for the best, and here it is!

Children Learn What They Live by Dorothy Law Nolte

If children live with criticism, they learn to condemn.

If children live with hostility, they learn to fight.

If children live with fear, they learn to be apprehensive.

If children live with pity, they learn to feel sorry for themselves.

If children live with ridicule, they learn to feel shy.

If children live with jealousy, they learn to feel envy.

If children live with shame, they learn to feel guilty.

If children live with encouragement, they learn confidence.

If children live with tolerance, they learn patience.

If children live with praise, they learn appreciation.

If children live with acceptance, they learn to love.

If children live with approval, they learn to like themselves.

If children live with recognition, they learn it is good to have a goal.

If children live with sharing, they learn generosity.

If children live with honesty, they learn truthfulness.

If children live with fairness, they learn justice.

If children live with kindness and consideration, they learn respect.

If children live with security, they learn to have faith in themselves and in those about them.

If children live with friendliness, they learn the world is a nice place in which to live.

Wish that was me !

So, someone else beat me to it!

Last week, Zoe was so well behaved I thought I'd win something, but her good mood did not last.... plus I did not get around to buying that Lotto tix.. so it came as no surprise that I'm still writing on this blog and still not a (British Pound) multi-millionaire! :P

Well, c'est-la-vie! At least I get to see this cheeky look of her (look at her poking out her lit tougue) which melts my heart.

Cheer up mom! You've still got me !

Pondering...

Written by Mama Zoe

Baby Zoe seems to be creasing her browse in deep thoughts here :

Hmmmm.. What should i do later? Sleep , drink more milk, entertain my folks ( that's hard work , yo!) ...or poo? TOUGH LIFE AS A BABY

Later , she seems to choose to CRY first, before falling asleep- being cradled and swung comfortably to sleep by Mom/ Kakak Sopi, usually!

My new BabyLeg - Huggalus from Australia

The latest fashion crazes for babies! Mom bought me a few Babyleg from Huggalus Australia. Don't you think is hip, stylish and fun? The one i am wearing is polka dots!
Mom said baby leg comes in handy when i am ready to crawl as it will protect my little knees from any hard surfaces. Also good for a winter trip! ~ Wondering when Dad going to bring me to Australia and USA.. as he always mentioned!

Trip to Melacca

This long weekend we decided to take a break. My hubby decided to stay away from KL. We invited Danny's family (Ty's cousin bro) to join us. This will be Zoe's first trip since back from Miri.

I have booked ourselves into Renaissance Melacca. This is first outing with Zoe; i was pretty picky on the cleanliness. It wasn't too disappointing afterall.

We got ourselves all checked in; as it was dinner time, we set off to Portuguese Settleman for a good seafood dinner. ( Shots taken during dinner)

Happy Birthday to Han Zhen Kor Kor, Apple and Zii Ying Jie Jie .

Further Delay ....

Calling Nicholas early morning yesterday, fully expecting my mother to board the flight already, to my disappointment, the flight is further delayed BECAUSE of "NO REASON". Gosh! At 7.10am this morning, when I called, my mother was still standing in line, for more than an hour already, and told me that the designated departure time,on 8.20am, is confirmed. I quickly texting Aunty Jany who will be over to airport; during the whole ordeal.

After confirming with Malaysia Airlines that mom is onboard, I feel somewhat better. Mom will arrive at KLIA at 10.15am. In my 25 years of flight experience, I never before encounter flight delay, have you? Imagine that is MAS .. ( I doubt they have good service nowaday)
